Mrs. Splitz is the James K. Polk Middle School the guidance counselor. Known for her trails of targeted students by adopting various disguises in order to help them. She is portrayed by Melissa Peterman and only appears once in Guide to:Failing
Personality[]
According to her, she adopts different persona and clothing for each student to help them through school, such as being a nice friendly person, when their grades are shown to be good, or becoming a drill sergeant when their grades are terrible. At one point she even acts like valley girl when she mentions that someone need a best friend.
Guide to: Failing[]
She makes her first appearance when Cookie entered her office, becoming the nice friendly guidance counselor, informing Cookie that his grades are so good, that all the teachers recommended him to skip the 8th grade and go to 9th grade, and then asked Ned to come in, which she transformed into a drill sergeant and informs him that his grades are so bad, that he will repeat the 7th grade if he doesn't show major improvements.
During Ned's plot, she first dressed like a janitor as she was cleaning the window while spying on Ned, only to encounter Mr. Wright while trying to say that what she's doing isn't spying but counseling. Later she appears again, this time as a goth where she destroyed Ned's magic pyramid and informs him, he needs to study. The next day, she appears again, this time as a teenage girl as she witnesses Ned trying to use some lucky charms and a fifth grader as a leprechaun and dance around him, to bring him luck.
Near the end of the Cookie's Plot, upon learning that Cookie has been trying to fail his exams on purpose in order to stay in school, Mrs. Splitz informs him that he doesn't have to skip a grade if he doesn't want to as all he had to do was say so. She then told asked Cookie to let Ned in and (once again) enter her drill sergeant persona as she told him he needs to pass social studies final so he can pass 7th grade.
At the end of Ned's plot, where she appears (in her drill sergeant persona) in the other side of the locker as she handed him his test and revealed that he has gotten an "A", which resulted in her changing her clothes to normal as she informs Ned that being a guidance counselor is her job and would take different persona to help them.
