Ned Declassfied character

Series info
First Appearance

Guide to: The First Day and Lockers

Mr. Monroe is the Life Science and Health teacher at James K. Polk Middle School.

He is very interested in Life Science and Health. He's also the advisor of the Sewing Club and, as revealed in Guide to: Seating and Tryouts, he's very talented at basketball and coaches the boys' basketball team.

In the episode Guide to: Crushes and Dances, he was the DJ at the school dance.

In the episode Guide to: Cheaters and Bullies, he revealed to Moze and Claire Sawyer that he used to be a bully as a kid, but eventually learned to be a kinder and friendlier person.

In the episode, Guide to: The New Semester and Electives, it's shown that Ned thinks of Mr. Monroe as "a great teacher."

He was gone for some of season 3, but returned after a year of living with penguins. In Guide to: Spring Fever and School Newspaper, he returned and began the school newspaper again (of which he's the advisor). He passed information to Ned and Moze under the name of "Deep Wolf."

He taught Health in most of Season 3 and in the episode Guide to: Health and Jealousy, he helps Cookie with his mood swings. He also helps Moze get rid of "Larry" the Health Dummy.

Mr. Monroe had a dark secret: he used to be a bully when he was Loomer's age (this was found out in the episode Guide to: Cheaters and Bullies) and he did all the bad things, which is similar to what Loomer does but as he got older, he soon got out of his bully zone and became a much kinder and friendlier person. Since his adulthood, Mr. Monroe is now kind, hard working, creative, helpful, gives advice to students and a friend to everyone.

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3

  • He is always opposed to violence, and speaks in a kind voice.
  • He was absent during part of season 3, as he was "living with the penguins". This is likely because Jim J. Bullock could not be there to film the show.
  • It's shown Mr. Monroe is mostly happy all the time, even on dark days. In episode, Guide to: Vice Principals and Mondays, while everyone else was mad and grumpy, he was still happy and perky.
