Gordy is the janitor at James K. Polk Middle School and a main character in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He is portrayed by Daran Norris.

Description

Gordy rarely does his job, but the students love him. He's good friends with Ned, Cookie and Moze and is always willing to help them with their various schemes.

He never gets along with various staff members of the school, with the exception of Mr. Wright, who also likes him as well.

In Guide to: Reading and Principals, he reveals he once published a book about a man who was a janitor by day and a spy by night.

Ned Bigby

Gordy used to get along with him every time when he visited the janitors closet. Mostly enough, he had to burn Ned's backpack that contains all of his stuff, including his guide book.

Cookie

Gordy knows about Cookie and his hi-tech stuff ever since. Even though Cookie's equipment was broken by the bullies, Gordy might be on his side.

Trivia

• He doesn't like chocolate.
• In Season 1, he was a recurring character due to Mr. Monroe having the main. However, in seasons 2 and 3, he served as the main character with Monroe being a minor.
• There's a running gag in the show that whenever there is a large mess to clean up, Gordy always says he'll "let the night guy get it."
• In Guide to: Halloween and Vampires, Ghosts, Werewolves & Zombies, which was set at night, he amended the phrase by saying, "I'll let the day guy get it."
